Exhibition Room on the Deeds of Li Hairui

On August 5, 1995, Li Hairui, a student from Class 3, Grade 10 at Baotou No. 11 Middle School, sacrificed his life while rescuing two drowning children. The Exhibition Room on the Deeds of Li Hairui was established in 1996, covering an area of 70 square meters, and is located within the campus of Baotou No. 11 Middle School. The exhibition is divided into two parts: text and photos, as well as displays of Li Hairui’s belongings during his lifetime. The Exhibition Room on the Deeds of Li Hairui serves as an important venue for patriotic, socialist, and collectivist education, as well as moral development among young people. Since its official free opening to the public in 1996, it has received over 110 visits from individuals at various levels in the urban area, and 2,096 visits from teachers and students of various schools. After the expansion project in 2011, the exhibition room has hosted nearly 1,000 visits from teachers, students, and league members of nearby schools on various memorial days, fully leveraging its role in moral education.
