Yunwu Public Study Hall

Yunwu Public Study Hall is located in the eastern section of Langtou Village. The year of its initial construction is unknown. It faces south with a north orientation and features a three-bay, two-corridor layout. The total width is 12.1 meters, and the building occupies a site area of 157 square meters. It has a flush-gable roof, a grey-plastered dragon boat ridge, grey-tiled barrel tiles, walls made of blue bricks, and both the facade stone foundation and the steps are embedded with granite and red sandstone respectively, with red clay brick flooring.

Langtou Village: Langtou Village Committee is located in the western part of Tanbu Town, covering an area of approximately 6.25 square kilometers. It governs three villager groups (Zhong Lang, Dong Lang, and Xi Lang), with a total population of over 2,330. The village was established in the late Southern Song Dynasty. It got its name because it was built on a small hill near low-lying paddy fields (‘Lang’ refers to low fields). In 2006, it was recognized as the Best Historic Ancient Village by the Huadu District People's Government and is also among the first batch of provincial-level ancient villages. The Langtou Village Committee is 15 kilometers from downtown Xinhua and 2 kilometers from Tanbu Town, connected via the Pearl River belt corridor highway leading to the town area.
