Attraction Introduction

Qifeng Park is situated on Huangqi Mountain, 4 kilometers south of Guancheng, and spans 1,600 acres. The park includes mountain parks, artificial lakes, botanical gardens, the Ancient Huangqi Temple, Huangling Taoist Temple, Lianquan, the lantern on Huangqi Mountain, and over ten other natural and cultural attractions. It's an ideal spot for visitors to enjoy spring scenery and explore Dongguan’s history.

The park is home to Huangqi Mountain, which stands at 189 meters above sea level and resembles an unfurled flag. Before the Tang Dynasty, it was called “Huangling” and is a symbol of Dongguan. “The Lantern Hanging on Huangqi Ridge” is the first of the legendary Eight Scenic Spots of Dongguan. At the foot of the mountain lies the Ancient Huangqi Guanyin Temple, built during the Song Dynasty, which attracts large crowds of visitors during festivals. A historic well, known as “Lianquan,” remains at the mountain’s base. Legend has it that drinking from Lianquan can make one honest and incorruptible.

Free Admission. The park is free to enter; however, the Ancient Huangqi Temple inside charges a fee of 5 RMB.
