The 2017 Dongguan International Marathon and the 16th Asian Marathon Championships will kick off on November 26 in Dongguan, Guangdong. Following successful collaborations with the 2017 Tengchong International Marathon, the Changchun Jingyuetan Marathon, and the Suzhou Jinji Lake Marathon this year, 361° is also joining the Dongguan Marathon for the first time, aligning with the Asian Marathon Championships, which represent the highest level of marathon events in Asia. To elevate the overall standards and competitiveness of this edition of the Dongguan Marathon, 361° is committed to offering comprehensive support to participants in pre-race training, professional equipment, athlete care, and physiotherapy recovery. Multiple energy supply stations will be set up across various race categories, including the full marathon, half marathon, 5.2 km mini marathon, and 2.6 km carnival fun run, helping athletes perform at their best. Additionally, 361° has specially invited running ambassadors Guan Siyang and Li Wenjie to lead the pack alongside over 200 professional athletes from 45 countries and regions across Asia, inspiring all participants to fully embrace their passion for running and discover more of their own greatness along the way. To boost the fun factor, 361° has also prepared interactive activities such as the Extraordinary Medal, the Extraordinary Pinball Game, and the Extraordinary Photo Print. In addition to the exciting activities and extraordinary experiences on the race day of November 26, 361° will also recruit nearly a thousand running enthusiasts for a pre-race “Passion Training Camp” on November 19 and 23. Through sharing and guidance on professional marathon theory and techniques, running gear selection, and post-race muscle recovery, the camp aims to help marathon participants engage in the sport in a more scientific and professional manner. Notably, 361° running ambassador Guan Siyang will share his personal journey of overcoming limitations, breaking barriers, and defying expectations to transform from ordinary to extraordinary – all driven by his love for running. His story will bring 361°’s brand message of “Where There’s Passion, There’s Extraordinary” to life, encouraging more people to actively participate in running and discover their own greatness through their passion for the sport.
