On November 26, the 2017 Dongguan International Marathon and the first leg of the Asian Championships officially kicked off. It is worth mentioning that 361°'s running ambassador, national-level marathon athlete Guan Siyang, American Badwater Ultramarathon Asia Women's No. 1 Marcia Zhou, and the so-called "Half-Marathon Goddess" Li Wenjie appeared on the Dongguan Marathon course alongside many other runners. Among them, Li Wenjie took the lead with an outstanding time of 1 hour, 17 minutes, and 49 seconds to win the women's half-marathon championship of this Dongguan Marathon. Speaking about her half-marathon secrets, Li Wenjie said: "First of all, running a half-marathon requires a scientific training method. In addition, being fully committed to running is also very important. Perhaps it is my love and focus on running itself that made it easier for me to achieve good results."
Subsequently, Guan Siyang and Marcia Zhou delivered more good news, winning the men's and women's full-marathon championships with times of 2 hours, 17 minutes, 57 seconds and 3 hours, 18 minutes, 29 seconds, respectively. Regarding this, Guan Siyang said: "This is my first time participating in the Dongguan Marathon. I am very happy to compete with so many high-level athletes, as it makes me more immersed in the sport of running itself. And because of my dedication and passion for running, I was able to achieve today's results."
