Incident: Dongguan cyclist posts about graffiti on Mount Luofu
Yesterday, a netizen shared the controversy from Baidu Tieba on Weibo, saying that a cyclist from Dongguan went cycling on Mount Luofu last month, vandalized it with graffiti, and proudly posted photos on the Humen and Dongguan forums. This has drawn the attention of many web users.
The reporter found a post on the Humen forum by a netizen named "Jiang Zhoujingwei," titled: [No Cycling Buddy in Dongguan Is Not a Friend] — Talking About Jiang Zhoujingwei’s 2014 Cycling Story. The post mentioned: "At 7 a.m. on January 13, at Hengli Cultural Square, cycling buddies from Dongguan No Cycling No Buddy Hengli group: Jiang Zhoujingwei, and Dongcheng group: Torrent. We went to Mount Luofu together. We started climbing at 10:06 a.m. Because I was spraying graffiti along the way, we didn’t reach the summit until nearly 1 p.m.! We stayed at Yuenok Peak for a while, then immediately descended!"
The post also included photos of the graffiti and selfies taken next to the graffiti. However, the graffiti text is not very clear. According to his later response to netizens, he wrote things like "Keep going, turn the corner and you’ll reach it," as well as his online alias — "Jiang Zhoujingwei."
On February 5, he also opened another post specifically, uploading a photo of his ID card along with his real name, address, and phone number online.

The person in charge of the Mount Luofu Management Committee said yesterday after seeing the related content on Baidu Tieba that Mount Luofu has very strict environmental management policies, and the state has also issued specific regulations for managing scenic areas.
The official stated that currently, many cyclists and hikers visit Mount Luofu, and most tourists are self-disciplined — not only do they pay attention to keeping the environment clean, some even pick up litter along the way and take it down the mountain. This cyclist’s random spraying is indeed a very serious offense, especially since he also posted photos online, which had a very bad impact. "Apart from expressing strong condemnation, we will also investigate and deal with the matter seriously according to the national scenic area management regulations."
