Introduction The Dongguan Dietary Customs Museum is a leisure-oriented thematic museum dedicated to the theme of Dongguan’s food and dining customs, showcasing and promoting traditional culinary culture. Invested over 3 million RMB by Dongguan Huayuan Congee City Service Co., Ltd., it was completed and opened to the public in December 2005, covering an exhibition area of 884 square meters. The museum houses a collection of more than 1,500 cultural relics. Its displays begin with the origins of Dongguan’s dietary customs, featuring various cooking utensils and tableware, highlighting the unique food features and customs of different towns and districts, and illustrating the historical evolution of Dongguan’s culinary culture. Here, visitors can not only experience firsthand the changes and development of Dongguan’s food traditions but also step into a traditional kitchen to get a taste of old ways of life.
