Huying Forest Park is located at the foot of Huangqi Mountain in the southeast of Dongcheng District, Dongguan City, situated at 113°47′ east longitude and 23°00′50″ north latitude. As part of Dongcheng’s new urban center, it borders Huangqi Park to the west, New World Garden and Yujing Garden to the north, and Peak View Golf Course to the east, covering an area of 2,979 mu.

The park is part of the Pearl River Delta plateau and hilly region, with higher terrain in the west and lower in the east, mainly consisting of low hills and slopes. Its highest elevation is 152 meters, with slopes ranging between 10–30 degrees. The soil is primarily lateritic red soil developed from sandstone. The upper mountain areas have thin, dry, and infertile soil with little humus and high gravel content, while the middle sections have slightly thicker soil layers, and the lower areas have deeper, more fertile soil with fewer gravels.

The park has a South Asian tropical monsoon climate, characterized by long summers, short winters, abundant sunshine, ample rainfall, rich heat, and mild temperatures. The annual average temperature ranges between 21°C and 22.2°C. Winters are not severe, with extreme low temperatures around 0°C, which are relatively rare. The frost-free period lasts 350 days a year, with an average annual rainfall of 1,767.8 millimeters and an average relative humidity of 79%. Severe weather is mainly indirectly caused by typhoons, bringing tornadoes and heavy rain. In some years, during the transition between winter and spring, there may be low-temperature frosts and cold dew winds. The original zonal vegetation of the park was South Asian tropical monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forest.

Covering an area of 1,500 mu, after the first and second phases of construction, Huying Park features Huying Pavilion, Cloud and Rain Bridge, Roman Column Forest, a barbecue area, and a sculpture garden spanning 60,000 square meters, which includes two sculpture zones: Ancient Chinese Military Strategists and Chinese and Foreign Scientists. The relevant departments of Huying Park have also designed three additional sculpture groups—Ancient Chinese Beauties, Western Film and TV Stars, and Environmental Sculptures—to enrich the sculpture garden’s scenery.

It is understood that the Ancient Chinese Beauties zone covers approximately 10,000 square meters, with an investment of about 3 million yuan. The area will recreate the grace of ancient beauties by following ancient garden architectural styles and aligning with the historical backgrounds of the figures in different eras. Statues of twelve ancient beauties, including Wang Zhaojun, Xishi, Yang Guifei, and Hua Mulan, will be placed in various locations. Surrounding the statues, pavilions such as Qingfeng Pool, Ke Pavilion, Lvyin Pavilion, Pearl Spring, Fengyue Pavilion, and Youquan Stone Bridge will be designed to decorate the surroundings, creating an elegant and serene viewing atmosphere.
