Zhu Zhi Xin (1885–1920) was a modern democratic revolutionary, originally named Da Fu. He was born in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang, but grew up in Panyu, Guangdong. In 1905 (the 31st year of the Guangxu reign), he went to Japan to study and joined the Tongmenghui (Chinese Revolutionary Alliance). He contributed articles to the Min Bao newspaper and engaged in debates with reformists. In 1910 (the 2nd year of the Xuantong reign), he participated in the New Army Uprising in Guangzhou alongside Zhao Sheng and Ni Yingdian. The following year, he took part in the Guangzhou Uprising led by Huang Xing (the Huanghuagang Uprising). In 1913, he joined the movement against Yuan Shikai and later became a member of the Chinese Revolutionary Party, continuing to promote armed resistance against Yuan in southern China. During the "0" Movement in 1917, he served as a military liaison in Sun Yat-sen’s Grand Marshal’s Office. The next year, he followed Sun Yat-sen to Shanghai. After the May Fourth Movement, he published the Construction Magazine in Shanghai, actively supporting Sun Yat-sen and remaining committed to the revolution. In 1920, he traveled to Guangdong to persuade the Gui clique army to defect, but was assassinated in Humen. His collected works are compiled in the “Collected Works of Zhu Zhi Xin.”

Protected area: 9 meters beyond the base of the monument. Construction control zone: within 30 meters outside the protected area, with a maximum building height of 30 meters.
