Chang'an Golf Club

The Chang'an Golf and Country Club is a joint venture between Hong Kong Chang'an Golf Club Holdings Limited and the External Economic Development Corporation of Chang'an Town. The Chang'an course is located at the foot of Lianhua Mountain in the scenic area of Chang'an Town, Dongguan, along the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway. It boasts a 27-hole USGA international competition-level golf course, including China's first 18-hole night-lit course. Nestled against the lush, picturesque Lianhua Mountain and surrounded by the clear, gentle waters of Lianhua Lake, the course offers breathtakingly beautiful scenery.

The course was meticulously designed by the renowned American JMP Golf Design Group. The championship-level course is divided into three 9-hole sections—North, East, and West—with the North and East courses totaling 6,923 yards and a par of 72. The most challenging hole is the No. 4 hole on the North Course, while the No. 3 hole on the East Course and the No. 8 hole on the North Course are the longest 5-par holes on the course. In addition, the club has built China’s first formal nine-hole pitch-and-putt course equipped with night lighting, specifically designed to help golfers improve their short game skills.

To ensure that the Chang'an Golf Club ultimately becomes a comprehensive holiday destination for golf enthusiasts and their families—not just a place to play golf but also a great spot for family leisure—the club truly embodies the idea that “loving golf doesn’t mean leaving your family behind.”

Since its establishment in 1994,

the Chang'an Golf Club has continuously improved its golf and social club facilities. Starting in 1997, the club successively opened its 27-hole course (including an 18-hole night-lit course), driving range, nine-hole pitch-and-putt course, golf academy,

Fragrant Island Café, Hyatt Chinese Restaurant, Matsuyama Japanese Cuisine, Millennium Lounge Bar, multifunctional meeting rooms, swimming pool, tennis court, cinema, children’s playroom, resort hotel Xiaofeng Building, and Aesma Tropical Aromatherapy Spa Center.

Since its inception, the club has stood out among numerous golf clubs in China thanks to its beautiful natural landscape, course design, comprehensive facilities, and management system. It has won major awards including: “China’s Top Ten Golf Clubs” and “One of Asia’s 20 Top Courses” in 1999, 2002, and 2004;

In 2001, it was invited to join St. Andrews’ “World’s Best Golf Clubs,” earning recognition as one of “China’s Eighteen Famous Holes” (North 4 and North 7); in 2003, it received “Best Club in 100 Countries Worldwide” and “World’s Most Influential Golf Course (China)”; in 2004, it was awarded “Best Golf Club for Hot Spring and Spa Services.”

The Chang'an Golf Club has always upheld the principle of giving back to society and has organized various charitable and public welfare activities over the years. In 1999, it initiated the “Yangtze River Flood Relief Charity Golf Tournament,” raising 300,000 yuan in disaster relief funds; in 2001, it hosted a three-month “Hole-in-One” lucky competition, donating proceeds to the Chang'an Town Youth Fund; in 2002, 2003, and 2004, it partnered three times with China Golf Magazine to organize the “Million Avenue Hole-in-One” invitational tournament, with all entry fees donated to charity.
