Baoshan Forest Park

Baoshan Forest Park is situated in the Baoshan Mountain Range that runs through Huangjiang Town and Zhangmutou Town, covering a total area of 8.27 square kilometers. The park is divided into the Furong Temple Scenic Area and the Jiudong Scenic Area. The landscape is characterized by continuous rolling mountains, vast seas of forests, dense vegetation, the songs of birds, rich wild charm, clear blue lakes, and evergreen scenery all year round, with a forest coverage rate as high as 88%. The main peak of Baoshan, located in the eastern part of the Furong Temple Scenic Area, has an elevation of 458.9 meters. Together with peaks such as Qijieding and Jigushi, it forms a crescent-shaped mountain range, resembling a crescent moon embedded in the land of Dongguan.

The park boasts lush forests, crystal-clear lakes, the songs of birds, rich wild charm, and is characterized by tranquility, seclusion, beauty, and wilderness. It is divided into four major areas:

First, the Baoshan Hiking and Sightseeing Area, which includes the Xiaofu Film and Television City Amusement Zone, Juhuding Forest Sightseeing Area, Gold Mine Pit Special Science and Education Zone, Baoshan Hiking and Scenic Zone, and Silookeng Stream Exploration Zone;

Second, the Furong Temple Religious and Cultural Sightseeing Area, which includes the Yuwengshan Color Culture Zone and the Furong Temple Cultural Zone;

Third, the Tianhu Forest Quiet Retreat Area, which includes the Tianhu Health and Quiet Retreat Zone, Tianhu Villa Leisure Zone, and Jigushi Summit Fitness and Sightseeing Zone;

Fourth, the Jinjiaoyi Park Management Service Area, which includes the Park Management Zone, Staff Living Zone, and Food Service Zone.

Zhangmutou Town: With a total area of 118.8 square kilometers, Zhangmutou Town is located in the southeastern part of Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. It lies at the center of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Huizhou, and Dongguan, where the provincial highways Guanhui and Dongshen intersect. The Huichang and Guancong expressways pass through the town, and the Changhu, Longlin, and Guanshen expressways all serve Zhangmutou. The town has both long-distance and short-distance bus stations, serving as a transit hub for road passenger transport in surrounding towns. The Guangzhou–Shenzhen and Beijing–Kowloon railways, as well as the Guangmeishan Railway, run through the area, with the train station handling 113 trains daily.
