Dalingshan Square is located in the town center and is a large, modern multifunctional cultural and recreational hub. The square is rectangular in shape, featuring a circular musical fountain at its center covering an area of 706 square meters, surrounded by railings adorned with stone carvings of dragons and phoenixes symbolizing good fortune. At the heart of the square stands a 21-meter-high, 3-meter-diameter granite dragon pillar weighing 300 tons, symbolizing the takeoff of the Chinese nation in the 21st century and the creation of new glories — truly a remarkable sight.

The development of square culture is a highlight of Dalingshan Town’s efforts to build a cultural new city. In recent years, the town has used the square as a platform, aiming to enhance the quality of its residents through a variety of vibrant and dynamic public cultural activities, achieving remarkable results. In 2004, it was honored as a National Characteristic Cultural Square. Most recently, it ranked first in the city’s second “Top Ten Squares” competition.

Dubbed the “nightclub without walls,” Dalingshan Square attracts thousands of locals and visitors every evening who come to dance and exercise. No matter where you’re from, you’re sure to spend an unforgettable night here.
