Hengli Cultural Square

The Hengli Town Cultural Square was built in 2000, covering an area of 99,000 square meters with an investment of 20.8 million yuan. The square features entertainment, fitness, leisure, exhibition, and children's play areas, making it a venue that combines cultural park and recreational functions.

In 2004, the town government invested over 1 million yuan to add three sculptures, one fountain, nineteen newspaper stands, four pavilions, as well as supporting facilities such as dressing rooms and promotional display windows. This year, the town government has further invested more than 1.4 million yuan to purchase a set of advanced lighting and sound equipment, as well as to add a batch of fitness facilities. With its comprehensive functions, rational layout, complete facilities, and local characteristics, the cultural square has become a highly attractive urban landmark in Hengli Town and was rated as one of Dongguan’s “Top Ten Squares” in 2003.
