The Former Site of the Meeting Room of the Third Detachment of the Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Forces is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Former Site of the Meeting Room of the Third Detachment of the Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Forces was originally the ancestral hall of the Liu family in Dawangling Village. It is located in Dawangling Village Group, Dawang Village, Dalingshan Town, Dongguan City. From October 1940 to October 1941, leaders of the Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Forces such as Yin Linping, Liang Hongjun, and heads of the Third Detachment including Zeng Sheng, Wu Qiang, and Lu Weiliang often held meetings here to discuss the development of the troops and the Dawuling Anti-Japanese Base Area, as well as strategies and tactics for guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines. In May 1941, a military training class of the Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Forces was established here, with trainees accommodated in the meeting room. The Liu family ancestral hall was built during the Qing Dynasty and renovated in 2005. It faces southeast and is arranged in a traditional three-bay, two-courtyard quadrangle layout, measuring 10.87 meters in width and 17.25 meters in depth. The structure features a flush-gable roof with purlins. The site covers an area of approximately 188 square meters. This historical site holds significant value for the study of the history of Guangdong’s anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle. It was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 2006.

It administers four natural villages—"Xiayouguling," "Shangyouguling," "Wengyao," and "Dawangling"—and seven village groups, with a total population of 19,860, including 2,363 registered residents. In 2010, the village’s total industrial and agricultural output reached 1.69849 billion yuan, with collective income at the village and group levels totaling 5.22 million yuan, and an average per capita income of 12,913 yuan.
