The Shrine of Late Integrity is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Shrine of Late Integrity is located in Nanshe Village, Chashan Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, to the left of the Ancestral Hall of Yingluo. It was built in the 45th year of the Wanli era during the Ming Dynasty (1617), and underwent renovations in the 44th year of the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty (1779) and again in 2004. The structure faces southeast and is arranged in a courtyard layout with three bays, three courtyards, four corridors, and two interior courtyards. It has a total width of 11.75 meters, a total depth of 22.5 meters, and covers an area of approximately 264 square meters. It is constructed with a combination of brick, wood, and stone materials, featuring blue brick walls and a red sandstone base on the front façade. The roof is of the flush-gable type, with a mixed beam frame of raised beams and piercing dougong, a hip-and-gable roof with a “人”-shaped fireproof wall, a dragon boat-shaped ridge decorated with plaster sculptures, and round gray-glazed tiles. The front gate features exquisite murals and wood carvings beneath the eaves, and there is a screen inside the entrance. The rear hall’s shrine enshrines the spirit tablets of the 7th to 11th ancestors of the Ming Dynasty. Two steles commemorating the 1740 renovation are embedded in the back wall. Late Integrity was the 7th-generation ancestor of the Xie family in Nanshe. This ancestral hall holds significant value for the study of ancestral halls in the Lingnan region. It was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 2006.

Nanshe Village: Nanshe Village is located southeast of Chashan Town, approximately 18 kilometers from downtown Dongguan. It enjoys convenient transportation, covers an area of 4.13 square kilometers, and includes seven villager groups. It has a registered population of 3,690 and an immigrant population of about 10,000. In 2016, the total operating income of Nanshe Village at both the village and group levels was 33.62 million yuan, with a net income of 18.08 million yuan, reflecting steady growth in the collective economy.
