The old site of Shajiaolun Mountain Fort is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The old site of Shajiaolun Mountain Fort is located in Lunshan, Shajiao Community, Humen Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. It was first built in the 10th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1884). The fort had five gun emplacements, each connected by underground passages, surrounded by walls. Facilities at the fort also included a signal fire tower, barracks, and an armory, covering a total area of approximately 1,490 square meters. The existing Lunshan Fort has three underground-style gun emplacements, namely Lunshan Lightning Platform, Lunshan Zhenwei Platform, and Lunshan □□ Platform. These three underground emplacements have now collapsed, but the underground passages remain relatively well-preserved. At the mountaintop, there are two open-air gun emplacements remaining, with circular and crescent-shaped gun pits, three underground passages, and four Qing-era barracks. The old site of Shajiaolun Mountain Fort serves as an important venue for patriotic education and national defense education, and holds significant value for the study of Ming and Qing coastal defense facilities. It was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 1982.
