The former site of Shajiao Linggao Platform is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The former site of Shajiao Linggao Platform is located on the mountainside of Chaqi Mountain in Shajiao Community, Humen Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, and was built in the 11th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1885). The Linggao Platform combines an open platform with hidden chambers, covering an area of approximately 270 square meters. The gunpowder tunnel is long and deep, with the entrance to the tunnel being the gatehouse of the Linggao Platform, which stands about 7.8 meters high and 9.4 meters wide, built from blue and red bricks. Inside the tunnel, there are hidden chambers on both sides—serving as an ammunition depot and soldiers' quarters. At the end of the tunnel lies a circular open-air gun emplacement made of cement, sand, and concrete, with a diameter of 8.5 meters. It currently features 34 visible shell craters and two commander positions. Between the tunnel and the gun emplacement is a rectangular water pool, built with cement and lime-sand mortar, measuring 1 meter in length, 0.52 meters in width, and 0.55 meters in depth. The Linggao Platform is situated at a higher elevation than the Binhai Platform, and the two are interconnected, complementing the limitations of the Binhai Platform and enhancing their overall defensive presence. The former site of Shajiao Linggao Platform serves as an important location for patriotic education and national defense awareness. It holds significant value for the study of maritime defense facilities from the Ming and Qing dynasties. In 1982, it was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
