Baoqing Family School is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Baoqing Family School is located within the Old Enclosure of Tangwei Village, Shipai Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, and was built during the Qing Dynasty. It faces east and measures 8.61 meters in width and 9.43 meters in depth, covering an area of approximately 81 square meters. The courtyard gate is an octagonal red stone-framed entrance. The building is divided into three sections: the left side serves as the kitchen, the middle section houses 0. Baoqing Gong, whose given name was Yu, courtesy name Quanjiang, and alias Baoqing, was a Qing-era Imperial Student (Jiansheng). In the early years of the Republic of China, Baoqing’s son, Zuozhang (courtesy name Shuren, also known as Jinan, who once managed Yungang Community School and founded Zhuiyuan Primary School), expanded the ancestral home and converted the family shrine into a schoolhouse. The existing plaque inscribed with the name “Baoqing Family School,” written in 1919 by Chen Botao, the top imperial scholar of Dongguan in the late Qing Dynasty, is preserved on-site. Inside the schoolhouse, there is a stone stele that details the origins of the building's construction. The schoolhouse features a wealth of wooden carvings and stained-glass lattice windows, making it of significant historical and artistic value for the study of family schools and educational conditions in the Lingnan region during the Qing Dynasty. It was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 2006.

The village boasts a well-connected road network, with three main roads—Taihe Middle Road, Shigang Avenue, and Li Heng Road—running through it, ensuring convenient transportation and a pleasant environment. The ancient village within Tangwei Village, celebrated for its well-preserved historic architecture, ecological surroundings, and rich traditional folk culture, was announced by the State Council in May 2006 as part of the sixth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
