Yingluo Ancestral Hall is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Yingluo Ancestral Hall is located on the left side of Dongyuan Ancestral Hall in the center of Nanshe Village, Chashan Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. It was built in the 35th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1770) and renovated in 2004. The hall faces southeast and is situated northwest, featuring a traditional courtyard layout with three bays, two courtyards, two corridors, and one central skywell. It has a total width of 10.8 meters, a depth of 20.8 meters, and covers an area of approximately 225 square meters. Constructed with a brick, wood, and stone structure, it features gray brick walls and red sandstone plinths. The roof is of the flush-gable type, with a hybrid beam framework combining raised beams and through-tenons, along with gable-and-hip walls shaped like an inverted “V”. The ridges are decorated with grey-plastered antique designs, the tiles are tubular gray-glazed, and the roof decorations include green glazed eave tiles with scalloped edges. The main gate is inscribed with the raised characters “Yingluo Ancestral Hall,” and a screen wall stands inside the entrance. A perimeter wall was also built in front of the main gate. The rear hall is hung with a plaque inscribed “Maoben Hall” (Hall of Diligent Origins), where ancestral tablets of Yingluo and generations of ancestors from the Xie family are enshrined. Yingluo was the 14th-generation ancestor of the Nanshe Xie family. The hall holds significant value for the study of ancestral architecture in the Lingnan region during the Qing Dynasty and the history of the Xie family. It was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 2006.

Nanshe Village: Located southeast of Chashan Town and approximately 18 kilometers from downtown Dongguan, Nanshe Village enjoys convenient transportation. Covering an area of 4.13 square kilometers, it comprises seven villager groups, with a registered population of 3,690 and a migrant population of about 10,000. In 2016, the combined operating income of the village’s collective and group-level economy totaled 33.62 million yuan, with a net profit of 18.08 million yuan, reflecting steady growth in the collective economy.
