Seven-House Hall and Dunmu Hall: Typical representatives of the combination of two ancestral halls. Seven-House Hall is the ancestral hall of the Li Songshi family (commonly referred to as “hall” by locals), while Dunmu Hall is the ancestral hall of Li Songshi’s son. The two are connected by a doorway and a courtyard in between. The total width of the buildings is 9.6 meters, and the total length is 20.95 meters, with Seven-House Hall being 10.31 meters long, the middle courtyard 1.04 meters long, and Dunmu Hall 9.6 meters long. Seven-House Hall was built during the Tongzhi and Xianfeng reigns, and Dunmu Hall during the Guangxu reign. Both feature a three-bay, two-courtyard layout. Dunmu Hall boasts exquisite wood carvings on its eaves boards and beams.
