The remaining two rear courtyards are 8.3 meters wide and 13.7 meters deep, featuring a brick-and-tile structure with red sandstone plinths and door frames, blue brick walls, a flush gable roof, colorful etched glass windows, and sliding lattice doors.

Yin Yu undertook extensive underground work for the Chinese Communist Party during the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War. Leaders of the Dongjiang Column, including Wang Zuoyao, once held secret meetings in this building. Yin Yu’s son, Yin Ping’er, and daughter-in-law, Yuan Hui, joined the anti-Japanese guerrilla forces in 1937 and 1940, respectively. The residence plays an important role in revolutionary tradition education.
