Boxia Shuchang Zhang Ancestral Hall is located at No. 10, Erjiafang, Boxia Community, Guancheng District, Dongguan City. Constructed in the early Qing Dynasty to commemorate Zhang Shuchang, the ancestor of the seventh lineage of Boxia, it was later inherited by descendants including Zhang Jingxiu and Zhang Da. The hall faces southeast and is built northwest, featuring a three-bay, three-courtyard, four-corridor structure. It has an overall width of 11.9 meters and a depth of approximately 25 meters. The walls are made of blue bricks, with red sandstone used for the foundation, steps, door frames, pillars, and plinths. It has a flush-gable roof, a hipped gable with a "人" character design, and a gray-plastered dragon boat-shaped ridge. The roof frame combines the post-and-lintel and mortise-and-tenon styles, featuring exquisite wood carvings. The overall layout remains largely intact, exhibiting distinct Lingnan ancestral hall architectural features, and holds certain historical research value.

Boxia Community: Established on July 1, 2003, Boxia Community in Guancheng was formerly the Boxia Subdistrict Office. It covers an area of about 1.2 square kilometers. By the end of 2017, it had 2,547 registered households and a population of 10,063, with most residences being single-family homes.

Located within the old city area and to the northwest of Guancheng, Boxia Community borders Wandao Batou Community to the north, looks toward Xiuyu Community to the south, and has the Dongjiang River and canal running along its eastern and western edges. There are no heavy industrial enterprises in the area, and green space predominates. A 2-kilometer section of Guangdong Province's Greenway and dedicated bicycle path runs through the community.
