Former Site of Humen Hospital

The former site of Humen Hospital is a cultural relic protection unit of Guangdong Province.

The former site of Humen Hospital is located within Zhixin Park on Renmin South Road in Humen Town. It consists of three parts: the gatehouse, Shangsong Pavilion, and the main building of Humen Hospital. Historical records indicate that the hospital was initiated by Jiang Guangnai and others and officially completed in 1933. The former site of Humen Hospital has now been named Zhixin Park in Humen Town to commemorate Mr. Zhu Zhixin. The park is lush with flowers, plants, and trees, offering a tranquil and pleasant atmosphere. The historical structure itself is well preserved and utilized, serving as an important site for patriotic education and leisure, especially for young students. The former hospital building now functions as a community center for the elderly.

In 2015, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Guangdong Province by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province.
