Dunhou Hall — Site of the Women Cadres Training Class for Party Members During the War of Resistance Against Japan is located in Yuanshan Village Group, Taigongling Village, Dalingshan Town. GPS coordinates: 22°55'23.9", 113°48'43.9", elevation 32 meters.

Dunhou Hall was first built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, facing south with a northward orientation, featuring a three-bay, two-courtyard layout. It is 8 meters wide and 13.3 meters deep, with a brick-and-wood structure, a flush gable roof, and walls made of blue bricks.

In January 1938, the Dongguan Central Branch of the CPC dispatched Zhang Ying to carry out work in Dalingshan. With the support of local residents, Zhang Ying centered her efforts in Taigongling Village and conducted anti-Japanese salvation propaganda in surrounding rural areas, trained militiamen, organized anti-Japanese self-defense teams in various villages, and developed Party members to establish Party branches, thereby laying a mass foundation. In August 1938, the Dongguan Central County Committee of the CPC held its first women’s work conference at Dunhou Hall in Taigongling Village. The meeting was chaired by Wang He, head of the women’s department of the county committee, and attended by women cadres such as Zhao Xueguang, Li Yingyu, Zeng Ling, Xie Jian, He Huan, and Huang Baozhen. In the first half of 1939, the joint county committee of the CPC for Dongguan (Dong) and Bao’an (Bao) moved its office here, and in July of the same year, a training class for Party members was held.

The Site of the Women Cadres Training Class for Party Members During the War of Resistance Against Japan was designated as a Dongguan Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the Dongguan Municipal People’s Government in January 2004.

Taigongling Village: Located to the northwest of Dalingshan Town, Taigongling Village is 3.5 kilometers from the town center, covering a total area of 2.24 square kilometers. The Taigongling Village Committee administers five village groups, primarily residing in five residential communities: Dadi Community, Yuantangzi Community, Shuangling Community, Jinlan Community, and Yuanshanzi Community. There are 478 local registered households with a population of 1,675, along with over 7,100 new residents. The village hosts 37 foreign-funded and private enterprises. In 2010, the combined economic income of the village and group levels was 12.6 million yuan.
