Fenggang Martyrs' Cemetery is located on Huaguoshan Mountain to the east of Fenggang Town’s central area in Dongguan City, covering an area of 14,000 square meters. It was constructed with an investment of over 2 million yuan by the Fenggang Town Government. The foundation stone was laid on July 22, 1994, and the cemetery was completed on July 22, 1995.

In October 1973, the People's Government of Fenggang Commune first built the Fenggang Revolutionary Martyrs Monument on Huaguoshan Mountain. Since then, the government planted flowers, grass, and fruit trees on the mountain every year, and thus the site was named “Huaguoshan Park.” The martyrs' cemetery was later reconstructed from Huaguoshan Park.

The entrance to Fenggang Martyrs' Cemetery is located on the western side of Huaguoshan Mountain. Upon entering the cemetery, to the left of the main gate, there is a 40-square-meter parking lot. To the northeast of the parking lot, there are cement benches provided for visitors to rest. Starting from the parking lot, a circular cement road extends in the north–east–south–west direction; there are five cement pedestrian paths leading up to the mountaintop along this loop. The Fenggang Revolutionary Martyrs Monument stands solemnly in the center of the mountaintop, dignified and solemn amidst the green foliage.

Approximately 20 meters southwest of the monument stands the “Huang You Pavilion,” built in memory of the brave soldiers of the Dongjiang Column from Fenggang who sacrificed their lives during the War of Resistance against Japan.

Along the roadsides, in front of the monuments, behind the pavilions, and across open spaces, nearly 40 varieties of flowers and trees are planted. Lush are the lychee, longan, mango, weeping fig, dragon cypress, and flame tree; tall and straight are the eucalyptus, casuarina, and kapok; azaleas, cannas, and gardenias dot the landscape.

The entire martyrs' cemetery is solemn, respectful, and serene, embodying both the weighty atmosphere of honoring the fallen heroes and the unique beauty of a southern Chinese garden.

Fenggang Town is located in the southeastern part of Dongguan City, at latitude 22°40′35″ N and longitude 114°6′42″ E.
