The Qiaotou Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument is located northwest of Jixin Ridge in the center of Qiaotou Town, with GPS coordinates: 23°01'42.8"N, 114°05'51.9"E, and an elevation of 7 meters.

To commemorate the 13 revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives in Qiaotou during the War of Resistance Against Japan and the nationwide Liberation War, in April 1963, the Qiaotou Commune built a Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument northwest of Jixin Ridge.

In 1995 and 2000, the Qiaotou Town government carried out two renovations of the martyrs' cemetery. The renovated cemetery covers an area of over 700 square meters. The monument faces southeast to northwest, with each side measuring 5 meters, a height of 3.4 meters, and an area of 25 square meters. It is constructed from granite and inscribed with seven large characters: “Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument.” The tomb is entirely inlaid with black marble, engraved with the gender, age, place of origin, position, time, and location of sacrifice of the 13 martyrs. These 13 martyrs are: Qiu Jianhong, Deng Sheng, Yin Ruisen, Yin Chuangzhi, Cai Hui, Huang Liucheng, Li Ruping, Li Guang, Luo Zhu, Luo Yuejia, Luo Can, Mo Rungui, and Zhong Jingbu. The cemetery is enclosed by square strip stones, the grounds are paved with bluestone, and the surrounding area is lush with trees.

The town features both hills and plains and is the source of the Dongjiang–Shenzhen Water Supply Project, which is world-famous for supplying water to Hong Kong. The town administers 16 villages and one residential area, covering a total area of 56 square kilometers with a population of 200,000, including 33,000 registered residents.
