Sha Zhou Park

Sha Zhou Park is located in the Xihe area of Wujiang District and consists of the Shahu plot and the Laohuyan plot, covering an area of 247.5 hectares with a total investment of 213 million yuan.

Sha Zhou Park is a “comprehensive urban park.” It primarily serves the functions of leisure and fitness for local residents. The west entrance of the park features an entrance gate designed in the architectural style of northern Guangdong residential buildings. Once inside, visitors can see a landscape garden and a plaque wall showcasing the “Twenty-Four Scenic Spots of Qujiang,” reflecting the profound historical and cultural heritage of Shaoguan.

At the north exit of the park, themed as “Lanyue Garden” (Moon Embracing Garden), the design is inspired by the poem line “Over the sea rises the moon” by Zhang Jiuling. Additionally, there is a children’s playground in the park, highlighting its vibrant atmosphere.

Visitors can choose to enter the park from the north entrance on National Highway 323 (located diagonally opposite to Aoyuan Cultural Tourism City), the west entrance on Yishan Road (Shahu Oasis), or the Shahu Road entrance.

All three entrances are equipped with parking lots, including 230 parking spaces at the west entrance and over 200 parking spaces at the north entrance.
