Attraction Introduction

Furong Mountain is a historic and cultural mountain in Shaoguan. Historical records indicate that over 2,100 years ago during the Western Han Dynasty, Taoist priests practiced alchemy here, and during the Tang Dynasty, monks built temples here, making it a sacred site for both Taoism and Buddhism. Many poets and scholars throughout history have left behind numerous poems about the mountain. Furong Mountain also boasts abundant mineral resources and has a glorious history of coal and limestone mining, with many remnants of mining activities still visible on the mountain today. The park’s main areas include the Themed Sculpture Plaza Scenic Area, the Garden Features Scenic Area, and the Mining Park Museum.
