Former Site of the North River Office of the Guangdong Peasants' Association

The former site of the North River Office of the Guangdong Peasants' Association is a cultural relic protection unit of Shaoguan City and a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the North River Office of the Guangdong Peasants' Association is located at the Guild Hall of the Four Counties' Compatriots Association on Xiahou Street in Shaoguan City. It is a single-story building with a courtyard layout built from brick and wood, covering an area of about 100 square meters. It currently houses the Jianguo Road Primary School.

In January 1926, the Guangdong Peasants' Association set up the North River Office here to strengthen the leadership of peasant associations in various counties of the North River region. It shared the premises with organizations such as the North River Special Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, the Qujiang County Peasants' Association, the Shaoguan Branch of the Guangdong Women's Liberation Association, and the Youth League.

In 1960, the Shaoguan Municipal People's Government designated it as a cultural relic protection unit.
