Sétif

Sétif is located in northeastern Algeria, about 190 miles east of Algiers, and is the capital of Sétif Province. It is a renowned university city in Algeria, home to the University of Batna - Hadj Lakhdar.

The city was founded as early as 225 BC and is currently the second-largest military region in Algeria after the capital, Algiers. Its economy primarily relies on trade and industry. In the city center, there is a large amusement park for children, as well as a zoo where visitors can observe animals. Strolling through the streets of Sétif, with its tree-lined avenues, ornate fountains, and colorful theaters, gives one the feeling of being in romantic France.
