The design inspiration for La Muralla Roja came from the Kasbah mountain city in Algeria, a North African country, where dense populations, numerous buildings, crisscrossing staircases, and narrow streets created a maze-like environment.Ricardo BofillLeveraging this characteristic, the goal was to improve the separation between public and private spaces.
