Baodai Stone is located on a high mountain to the west of Yongxing Lake, about 3 kilometers from the lake. Standing 30 meters tall and over ten meters in diameter, the stone exudes a massive, majestic, and towering presence. Visitors are often left in awe, as if they’ve stepped into a scene from a story. Some may hesitate to approach it alone due to its imposing appearance. The two giant rocks resemble human figures, and since Jia Baoyu from the classic novel was said to be born from a stone, the formation is called Baodai Stone. Some say that visiting Yongxing Lake without seeing Baodai Stone is like visiting China without seeing the Great Wall — an unforgettable regret.
