The Malaysian Parliament Building is located near Lake Gardens in Kuala Lumpur, close to the National Monument. Construction of the building began in 1962, and it was put into use in 1963. It is an architectural masterpiece that blends modern art with traditional styles, exuding grandeur and majesty.

The Parliament Building is divided into two parts: one is the three-story main building, and the other is a 17-story tower. The House of Representatives and the Senate are housed in the main building, though the House of Representatives' offices are actually located in the 17-story tower. The building is open to the public, and visitors can also observe parliamentary sessions when they are in session, but prior arrangements must be made at the administration office to obtain a visitor pass. Visitors are required to dress neatly, observe proper etiquette, and follow all relevant regulations during their visit.
