Petronas Twin Towers

Also known as the Petronas Towers, Menara Berkembar Petronas, or simply the Twin Towers, these are two skyscrapers located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They were once the tallest buildings in the world until October 17, 2003, when they were surpassed by Taipei 101 in Taipei, Taiwan. However, they remain the tallest twin towers in the world and are currently the fifth tallest buildings globally.

Standing at 452 meters with 88 floors above ground, the Petronas Towers were designed by American architect César Pelli. The towers' facades extensively feature stainless steel and glass, complemented by Islamic art motifs that reflect Malaysia’s Islamic cultural heritage. Along with the nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower, the Petronas Towers are iconic landmarks and symbols of Kuala Lumpur. The skybridge, located between the 41st and 42nd floors, spans 58.4 meters and is suspended 170 meters above the ground. It connects and stabilizes the two towers and is open to all visitors.

World-renowned films have been shot at the Petronas Towers. In the movie "Entrapment," starring Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones, the protagonists escape through the skybridge. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Malaysia’s most vibrant and beautiful cityscape.
