Bird Island New Edge Bridge is located in Bupyeong-dong, Seogwipo City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, South Korea. Officially opened on September 28, 2009, it is the longest pedestrian bridge at the southernmost part of Korea. Serving as a link between Seogwipo Port and Bird Island, its design is inspired by the traditional wooden raft "Tewoo" of Jeju Island, giving it an elegant look that adds another beautiful attraction to Seogwipo Port.

New Edge Bridge is the first cable-stayed bridge in South Korea to use a single cable line. Its sail-shaped main tower stands 45 meters tall and is equipped with LED lighting. Visitors strolling along the bridge can enjoy views of Seogwipo Port, Moon Island, Tiger Island, the Seogwipo offshore area, and Mount Halla. Additionally, crossing the bridge leads to Bird Island, an uninhabited island spanning over 102,000 square meters. On Bird Island, visitors can admire the warm temperate forests within the protected area, take walks along the 1.2-kilometer-long wooden deck path, gravel paths, forest trails, and enjoy leisure facilities such as a plaza and themed photo zones, making your trip truly memorable.
