Looks like an uphill but actually downhill? Travelers marvel at Jeju’s “Mysterious Road”

The Mysterious Road is located on Route 1100 between Jeju City and the cities of Jungmun and Seogwipo. Due to the unique surrounding terrain, it creates a visual illusion where what appears to be an uphill slope is actually a downhill stretch. This peculiar phenomenon is why it’s called the “Mysterious Road.”
