The Jeju Chocolate Museum is located in Higuri, Dajeong-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. It is the second-largest chocolate-themed museum in the world, following the Chocolate Museum in Cologne, Germany. The museum covers a total area of over 1,500 pyeong (approximately 5,000 square meters) and is built using Jeju’s distinctive volcanic rock, with its overall shape integrating European-style elements to resemble a foreign castle, offering visitors both a sense of elegance and romance.

At the entrance of the Jeju Chocolate Museum stands a charmingly designed “Cocoa God,” welcoming guests from afar with a touch of sweetness. The museum has one basement level and three above-ground floors, housing areas such as the main exhibition hall, video room, café, workshop, and chocolate shop. While the exhibits on the history of chocolate and various general knowledge displays about chocolate are also quite interesting, the most popular attraction is the workshop where visitors can observe and participate in chocolate-making. The finished chocolate creations can be tasted on-site or purchased to take home.
