Everland Botanical Garden

Everland Botanical Garden is located in Sakta-dong, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, South Korea, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions on Jeju Island. Since its opening in October 1989, it has welcomed an average of over 1.4 million visitors annually. The garden spans a total area of more than 34,000 pyeong, and is reputed to be the largest botanical garden in Asia. The garden is filled with a tropical ambiance, boasts beautiful surroundings and diverse landscapes, making it an ideal spot for leisure and fun.

Within the vast grounds of Everland Botanical Garden, which cover more than 34,000 pyeong, stands a sunflower-shaped glass greenhouse spanning over 3,800 pyeong, showcasing the world’s largest indoor garden. The outdoor botanical garden consists of four folk-themed gardens and multiple themed parks, and is home to more than 2,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants. Plant exhibitions and festivals are held year-round, ensuring there's always something fun and beautiful to see no matter when you visit. Additionally, the garden features a 38-meter-high observation deck, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Jungmun Tourist Complex, natural waterfalls, Hallasan Mountain, and the nearby coastal areas. On clear days, the southernmost island of South Korea, Marado Island, can also be spotted.
