Korea House is located on Bukchon 2-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, and is a tourist venue where visitors can fully experience Korean culture, including architecture, cuisine, art, and performances. The entire complex adopts the architectural style of houses inhabited by the upper class during the Joseon Dynasty and collaborates with skilled artisans from various fields to comprehensively showcase traditional Korean cultural goods in an elegant setting, attracting a large number of visitors interested in Korean traditional culture.

Push open the gate of Korea House and step into the courtyard, and the first thing you see is the gatehouse — Hailin Pavilion. Hailin means “friends all over the world,” and it consists of the wing room “Shaohua Hall” and the pavilion “Huanbi Tower.” In Shaohua Hall, visitors can enjoy traditional Korean meals based on royal court cuisine from the Joseon Dynasty; at Huanbi Tower, they can savor the food while admiring the square-shaped lotus pond. Beyond Hailin Pavilion lies “Jiale Hall,” which is akin to the inner room, along with a simply decorated folk theater on one side that can accommodate 156 spectators. Whether indoors or outdoors, the theater hosts a variety of colorful performances daily, including traditional Korean music, dance, and drama.

The backyard of Korea House features auxiliary buildings such as Wenxiang Tower, Lüyin Pavilion, and Tingyu Pavilion, which are situated in a leisurely fashion, making them ideal for family and friends gatherings. They boast an elegant style and offer an incomparably cozy atmosphere.
