Sisters' Ponds

Sisters' Ponds are located in Chukou Village, Fanlu Township, Chiayi County. The water in the ponds is not deep, but it is a calm, emerald green. Occasionally, faint wisps of mountain mist drift across the surface, only to vanish without a trace in an instant, as if spirited away by some underwater sprite, lending an air of mystery. These two small lakes were originally quite unremarkable among the trees, but they hold within them a tragic and poignant love story.
