Culture Road Night Market is one of the famous attractions in Chiayi City, Taiwan. It is located along a roughly 400–500 meter stretch of Culture Road, situated south of the central fountain on Zhongshan Road and north of Cuoyang Road in Chiayi City. It has been selected as one of Taiwan’s Top Ten Night Markets and one of Chiayi’s New Eight Scenic Spots.

The Culture Road Night Market is divided into three sections: clothing, street food, and fruit stalls. Among these, Taiwanese street food is the most renowned, including iconic dishes such as chicken rice, clay pot fish head, rice cake soup, rice pudding, seafood congee, oyster omelet, and stir-fried duck meat with rice noodles, all of which are highly popular. The clothing vendors are mostly well-known through word-of-mouth online and are especially favored by younger crowds. Another unique feature is that shops and stalls operate in shifts to keep the market open 24 hours a day. Typically, shops are open from around 10 or 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., after which street vendors take over until 4 a.m., followed by breakfast and produce vendors continuing until regular shop opening hours resume.
