Taoyuan Cihu
Cihu is located in Daxi Township, Taoyuan, blessed with the finest natural beauty. Its lakes and surrounding mountains resemble the landscape of Fenghua in Zhejiang, transforming the former "Pibei" into what is now known as "Cihu."
The area gained widespread fame due to the selection of this site for Chiang Kai-shek’s mausoleum and guesthouse. Cihu is an artificial reservoir divided into front and back ponds, nestled against the mountains and beside the water, offering picturesque scenery reminiscent of the Jiangnan region. It is said that the location benefits from a superior feng shui dragon formation.
