A Rollercoaster Ride: The Taoyuan Yellow Duck "Meets the Public" in the Afternoon

With the weakening of the northeastern monsoon, the wind speed in Xinyi Township, Taoyuan County reached level 3 this (8th) morning under clear and pleasant weather conditions. The Taoyuan County Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau had originally planned to commence the inflation preparation work at 11 a.m., but moved it up to 9 a.m. and completed the inflation operation by noon. The eventful little duck was unveiled to the public at 1:30 p.m.
Around 12 p.m., the inflation process for the yellow duck began. After 15 minutes, the inflatable was fully inflated and returned to float in Houhu Pond. The Taoyuan County Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau stated that the yellow duck officially opened to the public at 1:30 p.m., allowing visitors to admire its cute appearance along the pond walkway.
