He Xian Park

He Xian Park in Macau, originally named Xiangshan Park, was the first “urban lung” in Macau’s new port development area. Covering an area of 12,000 square meters, it was completed and opened to the public in July 1993. The park is rectangular in shape with various facilities evenly distributed. A wide concrete path runs from one end of the park to the other, with a straight-lined archway standing in the middle section, featuring cascading water that adds a unique and aesthetic touch. One end of the path is the main entrance, leading to an open-air theater that can accommodate hundreds of spectators, while the other end is the back entrance, which features a children's playground and a BMX bike area for kids to play. In the middle section of the park, restaurants, tea houses, and a library are located on both sides—these are low-rise buildings with a European flair. The overall design of the park is simple, bright, and modern.

In the center of He Xian Park stands a large rectangular archway made of black stone, with trickling water flowing gently down the surface, creating a distinctive effect. On both sides of the central section of the park, there are restaurants, tea houses, rest areas, and a library—all low-rise buildings with a European charm. Two pleasant rest areas feature pavilions with stone tables for visitors to enjoy chess and other games, and next to the pavilions is a large birdcage. The other end of the park is the back entrance, which has a children's playground and a roller skating rink for kids to enjoy.
