Walking into the lobby, you might think it’s deserted due to poor service—but in fact, there’s no staff at all. As soon as you push the door open, sensors trigger automated voice instructions. Guests simply input whether they have a reservation, confirm the number of nights and people staying, place their ID on the scanning area for record-keeping, and then choose one or two room keys. The whole process takes just three minutes.

Next to the lobby is an automated robotic arm that catches everyone’s eye. This “robotic arm,” designed at a cost of 4 million NTD, is dedicated to handling luggage. During check-in, guests can select their luggage size via the computer system, which then opens a gray drawer. Simply place your luggage in the corresponding compartment, and it will be automatically stored—no human assistance required throughout the process.

This fully self-service hotel not only saves on staffing costs but also helps guests save time during check-in. The hotel has 63 rooms, with everything from the entrance and lobby to the rooms designed in an industrial style, featuring wooden floors with a semi-rusted steel finish. Most rooms are double rooms with bathrooms, averaging about 213 TWD per night.
