Wusu Mount Buddha National Forest Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national-level forest park.

Wusu Mount Buddha National Forest Park is located in the central part of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang. It was approved as an autonomous region-level forest park in 1992 and was rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction by the Autonomous Region Tourism Bureau in January 2015.

Administrative region location: Wusu City, Kuytun City, Shawan County, and Dushanzi District of Karamay City in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Geographic coordinates and boundaries. Geographic coordinates: 83°25′33″E to 85°08′E, 43°54′N to 44°18′30″N. Boundaries: consistent with the operational area of the Wusu Forest Farm. On December 25, 2008, after on-site expert inspections and evaluations by the National Forestry Administration, Wusu Mount Buddha Forest Park was promoted to a national-level forest park. Following other national-level parks such as Tianchi and Nalati, Xinjiang gained another prominent national-level forest park. As of now, Xinjiang has a total of 14 national-level forest parks.

Wusu Mount Buddha Forest Park in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region spans the Tianshan Mountain range, boasting majestic and imposing peaks covered with dense spruce and pine trees that stand tall and proud. The park consists of three major scenic areas: Bayingou, Daifuseng, and Wulansaduke, covering a total area of 42,828 hectares. It is 40 kilometers away from National Highway 312, ensuring convenient transportation. The park is distributed in a triangular pattern from south to north in the southern part of Wusu. Mount Buddha Forest Park includes fifteen functional zones, equipped with dining, conference, hot spring bath, and entertainment facilities.

Wusu Mount Buddha National Forest Park was approved as an autonomous region-level forest park in 1994 and was rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction by the Autonomous Region Tourism Bureau in January 2015. [1] The park covers a total area of 37,000 hectares and consists of three tourist scenic areas: Bayingou, Daifuseng, and Wulansadeke Lake.

The evaluation team from the National Forestry Administration concluded that the quality grade of the scenic resources at Wusu Mount Buddha basically meets the first-class standard. The forest scenic resources have clear ownership, and the management structure is sound. The site largely aligns with the national forest park development plan and meets the criteria for establishing a national-level forest park. Approval was granted to establish Wusu Mount Buddha as a national-level forest park, officially named Xinjiang Wusu Mount Buddha National Forest Park.

The park covers a total area of 110,000 hectares and features a sub-temperate climate. It is a treasure trove of tourism formed by a blend of snow-capped mountains, forests, grasslands, rivers, glaciers, and canyons.
