Disney's Duffy and Friends Go Full Costume — The Spooky New Adventure of Halloween Town Has Arrived

The Halloween Time celebration at Hong Kong Disneyland will return from September 13 to October 31, running for 49 consecutive days. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic Disney Halloween animation – *The Nightmare Before Christmas*, Hong Kong Disneyland has this year themed the event around *The Nightmare Before Christmas*, adorning the park with decorations inspired by the film. In the brand-new “Halloween Town Adventure” in the Animation Gallery, Jack and his spooky friends will join forces for mischievous fun, with non-stop themed parties taking place day and night. Numerous Disney characters including Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, and new friend Cookie will also don brand-new Halloween-inspired spooky outfits.

The critically acclaimed classic Disney animation *The Nightmare Before Christmas* celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and Hong Kong Disneyland is presenting a brand-new “Halloween Town Adventure”. Visitors will step into multiple iconic scenes from the *The Nightmare Before Christmas* movie, surrounded by eerie ambiance and the classic haunting soundtrack. Experience the spine-chilling atmosphere of Halloween Town. Venture into the Mad Scientist’s lab where Sally needs help, Jack is approaching, and the evil villain Oogie Boogie lurking in his lair glares menacingly. Additionally, guests can join the “Pumpkin King Jack and Friends’ Spooky Gathering” to get an up-close look at Jack, Sally, and the villainous Oogie Boogie from *The Nightmare Before Christmas*.

The most playful and spectacular Halloween street party kicks off daily in the afternoon on Main Street, U.S.A. Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy will parade aboard three giant pumpkin-themed floats, inviting guests to dress up in Halloween costumes, practice their spooky dance moves, and join the “Mickey’s Halloween Street Party” to sing and dance along to the music in the streets.

For a different kind of Halloween experience, Disney has created a uniquely themed garden — the “Halloween Trick-or-Treat Garden”. Winnie the Pooh and friends have gone all out with spooky outfits, and guests can also show off their creative side with creepy face painting, teaming up to take on the Disney Trick-or-Treat Fun Zone. Throughout the park, numerous Disney characters will be dressed in new outfits for photo ops, and Duffy’s new friend Cookie will make its first-ever Halloween appearance.

As night falls, the all-new dark sorceress will make a powerful debut in the “Disney Villains Dance Party 3.0”, unleashing her dark powers alongside other villains including the Evil Queen, the Wicked Witch, Jafar, Jack, Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts, Ursula, and Cruella de Vil, all partying together under eerie lights and hauntingly good music.

Main Street, U.S.A. hosts a dazzling light show every evening — the “We Love Mickey!” projection show. The entire street transforms into a starlit boulevard, showcasing milestones from Mickey’s legendary career — from classic black-and-white looks to vibrant, energetic performances, and even his quirky, fun side. Mickey makes a grand finale appearance, taking the party to its climax.
