"Disney on Ice ~ Mickey's Music Festival" will be performed six times at the Changhua County Stadium on June 2 and 3 (Saturday and Sunday). The Changhua County Government has also made ticket prices more affordable, with the second-floor stand area: NT$500 (no assigned seating), first-floor stage area: NT$800 (from row 6, no assigned seating); the public can start preselling tickets from 12:00 noon on Friday, March 9, through the Kuan Hong Ticketing System, Changhua County Cultural Affairs Bureau, Yuanlin Performing Arts Center, and convenience stores such as 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, and Hi-Life. This year's new Disney on Ice production from the United States, "Mickey's Music Festival," is an all-new show that has never been performed in Taiwan before. It will feature Mickey leading over 25 Disney stars including Minnie, Donald Duck, The Little Mermaid Ariel, Sebastian, Ursula, Princess Jasmine, Aladdin and the Genie, as well as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie. From the very beginning, audiences will enjoy dazzling backdrops created using cutting-edge projection technology, followed by being whisked away by Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, and the Genie into a brand-new world full of hip-hop beats, dazzling acrobatics, flying carpets, and magic shows. Schools of fish, Ariel, Sebastian, and their sea companions frolic to the rhythm of reggae music. Kids and adults alike can join Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Bullseye in cowboy-style dancing.
The 2012 Taiwan Lantern Festival’s Disney parade performance in the U.S. attracted over 1.45 million visitors eager to see Mickey and Minnie; with this upcoming "Disney on Ice ~ Mickey's Music Festival," a new wave of Disney fever is sure to sweep the nation again!
