Laofengkou Guozigou Forest Park in Toli County is only 20 kilometers from the county town, and 40 and 50 kilometers from Emin County and Yumin County respectively, making it very convenient to reach. Guozigou refers to five valleys in the Barlik Mountain range. The valleys are covered with wild apple trees, yielding over a thousand tons of apples annually. In addition, the valleys are also home to mountain poplar, birch, wild jujube, and goat willow. Every May, the colorful wild apple blossoms fill the air with fragrance, attracting bees and butterflies. In June and July, the lush green trees provide dense shade, with a wealth of wild fruits hidden among the thick leaves. August and September bring an abundance of ripe fruit weighing down the branches, fallen fruit covering the ground, and a pervasive sweet aroma. The unique wild fruit landscape here is truly one of a kind in the Tacheng region.
