Greece has stepped into paradise ! Cave houses at the volcanic crater on the blue - and - white - styled Santorini Island

I actually walked into a postcard scene!!

Dreamy paradise "Santorini Island", here I come~~~~(running)

The long - awaited Santorini travelogue officially begins,
Santorini Island can be said to be the most popular island in the Aegean Sea~
Not coming to Santorini is like not visiting Greece at all!
Santorini is really extremely beautiful!!
You really have to come here at least once in your lifetime to make it a worthwhile life~ Ha haa~

We stayed on Santorini for a total of five days and four nights.
We stayed for two nights in Oia and two nights in Fira.
Today, let's share my exploration journey in Oia~~GO~

When we arrived in Oia on the first day, it was already afternoon.
After we found a restaurant and had a big meal,
we wandered around the blue - and - white alleys.

There are also some non - blue - and - white corners on Santorini occasionally.

Turn around and there is the boundless Aegean Sea.
The sky is so blue! The sea is even bluer.
The white mountain town by the volcanic crater.
Just like this, a beautiful blue - and - white - style scenery is formed.

There are shops and restaurants everywhere on the street.
This one sells products made from olives.
There are olive soaps, hand creams, lotions, shower series, and hair products, all available.

In the eyes of the ancient Greeks,
olives were deeply loved because of their success.
And olives have become an indispensable part of the daily lives of the Greeks.
Besides being eaten, natural soaps, shampoos, and skin - care products made from olive oil are the secrets for the Greeks to keep healthy.
Taking the olive oil - made soap as an example,
it contains no chemical additives. It moisturizes but also feels refreshing when used.
The outer packaging of the soaps all feature local attractions, and they're packaged so adorably~
They're perfect as souvenirs.

Postcards are also everywhere and easy to find.

Walking through the alleys, you can also spot Santorini’s specialty — the "blue-domed churches."
The blue-domed churches and hanging clocks are said to be Santorini’s trademarks.

We were so excited to have just arrived in Santorini！
We wandered through the blue-and-white alleys, happily taking photos.

Shops selling accessories are also everywhere,
This accessory shop has a very bohemian vibe,
It’s perfect for pairing with a white long dress to match the atmosphere here.

This is a restaurant with a really fun installation,
It made passersby stop to take photos.

We walked through the alleys,
Every restaurant here has an amazing view,
The front faces the alleys,
And the back overlooks the vast Aegean Sea.

Even the donkeys are dressed up in Santorini style~
Oh, donkeys are also a specialty of the island~
On Donkey Avenue, you can even ride a donkey and experience the thrilling swaying sensation.

After passing through the shopping street, we arrived at the postcard scene,
The vast Aegean Sea + blue-domed churches.

We often see it in travel books,
But never thought we’d actually see it with our own eyes！

Santorini is truly too beautiful！
So beautiful that you’d want to stay here forever~

With such a great view！ You have to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee and relax~
There happens to be a café here, Seagull Cafe.

On the white wall, you can also see the sign for a massage shop,
This massage spot is located right at the volcanic crater,
And there’s also an outdoor massage area,
This massage was absolutely heavenly!

Here, the entire white city is perched right on the coastal cliffs,
Mostly made up of restaurants and hotels,
Each one offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea.

Walk a little further and you’ll reach a postcard-perfect spot,
No need to pose—just snap a photo anywhere and everyone looks like a pro photographer here. It’s unbelievably beautiful.

Every winter is the low season for the Aegean islands,
and this place turns into a ghost town,
with even locals rarely staying on the island,
but from around April through October, the number of tourists increases significantly,
and hotels can be hard to book.
I visited in mid-May,
when the weather was pleasant, there weren’t too many tourists, and hotels were affordable—it was such great luck!

Look down, and you’ll see rows of cave houses,
stacked along the cliffs,
take a stroll along the winding stairways,
and you’ll truly get a feel for the unique charm of Oia!

Each house has a large balcony facing the Aegean Sea,
where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch, soak up the sun in the afternoon,
or just read a book, daydream, and never feel bored.

Walking down the street, you’ll find a whole row of cafés,
this street is so colorful,
the café on the left also doubles as an ice cream shop,
the vibrant colors here are truly uplifting.

The porcelain here is so beautiful!
Milk jugs, salad plates, and pepper pots… I wanted to take everything home.

And there’s a jewelry shop every two or three steps.

The Aegean Sea never gets old~
The terrain here is full of ups and downs,
and every time you climb over a slope, another stunning view awaits.
Every time we passed through an alleyway, there was always something surprising waiting for us.

The end of this alleyway leads to a blue-domed church,
It feels like stepping through the alleys opens up to vast openness.
This place often gathers many tourists.

Walk to the end of the road next to the blue-domed church to reach the spot reputed to have the "most beautiful sunset in the world."
When you come to Oia, be sure to stay until 8 p.m. to watch the sun go down.

The higher you go, the more stunning the scenery becomes.
The guesthouses in this area are all small but cozy,
and they all definitely offer breathtaking sea views.

Inside the arch is a little shop that sells paintings.

The donkey doll is so cute~
Souvenir shops around Santorini are all over the island,
but it’s good to compare prices a bit—
for example, small magnets are sold for anywhere from 1 euro to 5 euros.
After comparing prices, I found that shops closer to the sunset tend to be cheaper.

Before we knew it, we had walked all the way here from the far end.

The art shops are hidden behind their signs.

Walking along the white streets just has this relaxing vibe~
This kind of casual, unpretentious look is so Greece.

The town of Oia is quite big,
and it took us two days to explore most of it.

Restaurants along Donkey Street allow you to enjoy a meal while watching the most beautiful sunset in the world.
We thought about dining at one of these restaurants to catch the sunset,
but we found out that all the restaurants are fully booked from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. during the dusk hours (sigh),
so if you want to eat here, you really need to book in advance.

This stone staircase path is Donkey Street,
and although you can see the adorable donkeys,
you have to be very careful not to step on "donkey poop" at any moment,
and it smells pretty bad here XD

Going further up, we arrived at the sunset viewing platform.
It's only around 4 pm now (it doesn't get dark until 8–9 pm),
and there are already a large number of tourists waiting here (surprise!)
No wonder some netizens say you have to come early to secure a spot,
otherwise it's really hard to find a place.

Undoubtedly, the view here is really beautiful.
When the sun sets in the west, along with the nearby white mountain town, it’s truly enchanting.

So beautiful—this view~
Hotels here are in high demand, after all, you can watch the sunset directly~

Below is a port,
and the winding road is Donkey Alley.

Oia is most famous for its sunset sea view,
but it’s already very beautiful even before the sunset begins.
It's still too early today,
so we don’t plan to stay until dusk and will continue exploring.

Donkey Alley is also walkable for pedestrians,
in the past, for the convenience of transporting goods, local residents used to carry heavy loads or even ride donkeys.
For tourists, riding a donkey is a fun experience.

Along Donkey Alley, we arrived at another spot,
and when we looked down, this hanging clock is also a postcard scene.

The domed church ahead glows golden yellow under the setting sun, and the Aegean Sea is really beautiful.

Gazing at the Aegean Sea, your heart becomes relaxed and carefree.
Traveling in Santorini doesn’t require a strict schedule—it's laid-back and relaxing.
Even if you do nothing, just lounging around in a daze all day is an enjoyment.
